Prairie Mechanical originated as a mechanical service contractor in 2002. What began as two men in service vans has grown into a fleet of service vans and welding trucks that provide both 24/7 emergency service and preventative maintenance.  Our service business continues to thrive due to our valued and trusting relationships with our clients.

As our client's facilities expanded, we saw an opportunity to expand our services into mechanical construction.  We currently serve clients in a variety of markets including healthcare, mission critical, K-12 education, higher education, and hospitality. In order to broaden our services to our valued clients, we acquired Furey Sheetmetal in 2005 and Zabel Plumbing in 2008.

Today we are proud to be one of only two full service Mechanical Contractors serving the Greater Omaha Area; self-performing steamfitting, sheetmetal, plumbing, and medical gas scopes of work.
