Energy costs are on the rise; buildings are expensive to construct and even more expensive to operate and maintain. Our economy is struggling; owner's operations and capital improvement budgets are shrinking. Facility managers are being pressured to do more with less. Prairie Mechanical is committed to partnering with our clients for the lifecycle of their facilities. Whether it is properly maintaining your existing equipment to ensure optimal performance or creating a strategic plan to phase out antiquated equipment, Prairie Mechanical collaborates with our clients to create a plan that meets each of their unique operational constraints.

Industry leading service technicians; that is the Prairie difference!  Our staff of service technicians have over 200 years combined industry experience.  Many of our technicians hold MSCA Star Certifications through the Mechanical Service Contractors of America. Continuously trained through our United Association affiliation, they stay current on the most advanced heat transfer technologies. To further develop our service technicians and provide value to our clients, many technicians are sent to manufacturer specific equipment training to provide factory authorized start-up and warranty services.

24/7 Emergency Service:

Prairie Mechanical has service technicians on-call 7 days a week, 24 hours a day so we can quickly mobilize for unexpected failures. Our service fleet also includes two welding trucks for those impromptu piping failures.

Planned Service Agreements:

The best way to minimize operational budgets is to ensure that your mechanical systems are properly functioning. Routinely maintaining your mechanical equipment improves equipment reliability, extends equipment life, and reduces energy consumption. Prairie Mechanical works with our clients to create a maintenance plan that is specific to their operational constraints and/or needs.

Planned Equipment Retrofit:

Energy was a resource that used to be relatively inexpensive. As a result, facility managers tended to make maintenance decisions based on first cost as opposed to lifecycle cost. Many organizations are now paying the price for years of deferred maintenance in the form of excessive energy bills and antiquated equipment. This can be an overwhelming situation, therefore, Prairie Mechanical partners with our clients to create a retrofit strategy that works within their operational and capital improvement budgets.
